Our Beginners Course is held once a year and runs for four weeks. It covers all of aspects of archery to a greater or lesser extent. It is the same throughout all archery clubs and if you have completed the course with another club you will not have to do it again with us (we will need evidence from your course completion certificate). But to join any club you will have to complete the course. All equipment will be provided for you and matched to you. After you have completed the course, you will not necessarily have to buy equipment immediately, as we have equipment which you can rent, typically for up to six months, before you decide what you equipment you wish to buy. We can give you advice on the appropriate archery equipment to buy and the best places to buy from in the area.

Those who do the course will experience a sport everyone knows about but few have ever done. You don't have to be sporty or athletic because after all "Archery is the sport for all"! And all ages.

After completing the course, you will be able to tell if it is the sport for you; then if you would like to continue with the sport, you will be given the option to join our club or any other in the country. Those who do the course have good fun, which at the end of the day, is the reason we all shoot!

Our next Beginners Course is provisionally scheduled to start on March 10th 2012

and run for four weeks, between 1000 to 1200 each Saturday.
